Xander is a Senior Architect in Clark Nexsen’s Raleigh office with over ten years of experience in architecture, construction, and technology. As Senior BIM Manager, he oversees and manages Revit Templates while developing workflows that optimize technology use to create quality work products and design excellence for clients. His expertise across multiple fields has been invaluable in overseeing, contributing to, and managing projects for the firm.

Xander leads both the reality capture and drone innovation hubs, having become the first commercial drone pilot at Clark Nexsen. He has emerged as a technology leader within the firm, harnessing drones to transform project workflows and provide valuable project insights. His proficiency in BIM management has led to significant process improvements, particularly with BIM, Newforma, and Revit.

As Chair of the Leadership Advisory Council, he guides a distinguished group of firm leaders who collaborate with senior leadership to address industry challenges, foster professional and civic engagement, and enhance service to the firm’s people, clients, and communities within the evolving AEC marketplace.

Before joining Clark Nexsen, Xander gained valuable experience working in architectural hubs like San Francisco and Raleigh. His expertise and versatility were invaluable in projects such as the renovation of Owen Hall at UNC Asheville, East Fork Pottery’s manufacturing facilities, and a USDA seed research facility. Xander holds a Master of Architecture from NC State University and a Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University.
