Wes Parker  PE, PTOE

Wes Parker is the Infrastructure market sector leader with over 17 years of design and management experience on a wide variety of transportation and traffic engineering projects. Clients and colleagues describe Wes as motivated, dependable, and quality driven. His experience as a project or task manager for numerous on-call, roadway, and trail projects has contributed to providing clients with timely, cost effective, and detailed transportation designs for both urban and rural environments. His broad range of project design and management experience emphasizes unique solutions for numerous types of transportation, roadway design, trail, ITS, and traffic projects.

Being proficient in traffic engineering as well as roadway design, Wes is able to envision potential conflicts between roadway, drainage, traffic devices, and/or other utilities very early on in the design process, supporting the owner by avoiding costly delays and problems.  He is a civil engineering graduate of Old Dominion University and an active board member of the Virginia Section Institute of Transportation Engineers (VASITE), serving as president in 2020/ 2021. An Eagle Scout, Wes has served as vice president of camping operations for the Tidewater Council, Boy Scouts since 2010.
