John Stuart  PE, ENV SP

John Stuart is the Infrastructure Client Engagement Leader working out of Clark Nexsen’s Richmond office and focuses on delivering civil infrastructure projects for clients in the local government, state, and federal market sectors. His background in construction inspection brings a common-sense approach to project development and successful construction completion. John’s passion for helping to bring impactful transportation improvements to communities and the traveling public makes each day both challenging and incredibly rewarding.

John graduated from Virginia Military Institute, and served four years in the U.S. Army, primarily in West Germany, and earned his Master of Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill. He is a member of the American Public Works Association, Society of American Military Engineers, American Society of Highway Engineers, and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Virginia, where he serves on the Transportation Committee.
