Chad Roberson AIA, LEED AP BD+C
A principal and licensed contractor, Chad Roberson leads Clark Nexsen’s office in Asheville, North Carolina. His experience encompasses the design and management of public and private sector projects, college and university buildings, performing arts facilities, and commercial development. Complex building programs, dense urban or campus contexts, and multiple, diverse user groups characterize his projects.
Chad led design and construction for the Health and Human Sciences Building on the Millennial Campus of Western Carolina University, a LEED gold certified project that received a 2015 international Rethinking the Future Sustainability Award. Currently he is leading the design team for the Joint Medical Education Facility, housing a new Cancer Center for Pardee Hospital, Wingate University’s Pharmacy School, and Blue Ridge Community College’s Nursing program. Chad received a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from North Carolina State University and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University.
