Brian Snyder PE
Brian’s proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving has resulted in many successful projects as a structural engineer and project manager. Upon graduation from Virginia Tech, Brian joined Clark Nexsen as a structural engineer focusing on a variety of projects, including historic renovations and design work in Spain and Italy. As his passion for leadership grew, his career naturally transitioned to his current role in project management in 2019. His project management style leverages technology, open communication channels, and results-focused processes. In addition to project related work, Brian serves as a Lean leader in the firm, presenting at the 2019 Lean Construction Institute Congress and leading CN Kaizen, Clark Nexsen’s continuous improvement practice.
Leveraging his positive attitude and optimism, Brian is passionate about making a difference for project users, clients, and the wider community. Brian is a 2016 Master’s graduate of Old Dominion University’s Engineering Management program, a 2018 Inside Business Top 40 under 40 recipient and a graduate of the 2018 Class of the LEAD Hampton Roads leadership development program.
