Bobby Cummings  PE, DBIA

Managing principal of our Roanoke office and a leader of our Public Safety practice, Bobby Cummings’ professional focus is fueled by personal passion. As a reserve deputy sheriff in Bedford County, his firsthand experience informs and enhances our public safety facility design. With expertise spanning a broad range of markets including education, industrial, and federal in addition to public safety, Bobby brings more than 32 years of engineering experience to his clients.

He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and the Virginia Economic Developers Association, and has served on the board for the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Society of Professional Engineers.

Bobby earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Virginia Tech in 1988. He lives on a small farm in Botetourt County, Virginia and enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and camping.
