Nikki Pierce Elected Society for Design Administrators Vice President
The Society for Design Administrators recently elected Nikki Pierce vice president to their National Executive Committee. She will serve as vice president on the six-person committee for 2018-19. Nikki has chaired the SDA National Certification Committee since 2011 and was honored with an SDA STAR Award in 2015 for her 10+ years of service and commitment to the organization.
“Nikki demonstrates a focused, confident and authentic leadership style,” comments Brooke Simcik, SDA’s president-elect and senior associate principal at VAI Architects. “Her contributions on both the local and national level exhibit her continued dedication to our members, the Society’s overall success as well as the A/E/C community. It is an honor to work alongside her on the ExCom.”
As an administration manager at Clark Nexsen, Nikki has 20 years of A/E administrative experience. She is a strong collaborator who is reliable, and supportive. Nikki is takes it upon herself to make sure that everyone has what they need. She is invested in the success of the company. Her colleagues see her as a knowledgeable resource and enjoy having her as part of the team.
Nikki is a Certified Design Firm Administrator and a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design + Construction. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in design from SUNY Buffalo State.
