Clark Nexsen Earns a Top Spot in ARCHITECT Magazine’s 2018 “Architect 50” Ranking of U.S. Firms
Number 20 ranking based on firm’s overall business success, commitment to sustainability, and design excellence
Clark Nexsen has been ranked the No. 20 leading architecture and design firm in the U.S., according to ARCHITECT Magazine, the official publication of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), which annually publishes its Architect 50 list.
Most lists are revenue-based, but the Architect 50 evaluates firms across a broad range of categories. The judges analyzed 160 firm entries this year — the largest number in the ten year history of the rankings. Clark Nexsen had strong scores in each of the three main categories: business, sustainability, and design excellence.
“We are both proud and honored by this recognition,” said Dennis Stallings, FAIA, Design Director at Clark Nexsen. “It validates for us that in key areas of practice, we are doing things successfully.”
In addition, the firm has been ranked No. 3 on the Top Business category. The business ranking evaluates firms on the basis of net revenue, profitability, financial commitment to both research and pro bono work, diversity and employee benefits.
“We have had a terrific year,” said Clymer Cease, FAIA, Clark Nexsen Chairman of the Board. “We attribute our success to our commitment to provide clients with exceptional design and professional services.”
This is the fifth year Clark Nexsen has made the top 50 on ARCHITECT’s list since the magazine launched the rankings program in 2009.
