Clark Nexsen to Speak at AIA Virginia’s ArchEx
ArchEx will focus on actionable sustainability in the session, “Demystifying the 2030 Commitment,” featuring a firm panel discussion that includes Clark Nexsen’s Don Kranbuehl, FAIA and Brian Turner, PE. The panel will help attendees from design firms of all sizes learn how to take serious action on climate. Digging deeper into what it takes to sign onto the 2030 Challenge, the panel will present first-hand research, best practices, and lessons learned from leaders of small, mid-sized, and large firms who’ve already made the commitment.
Saif Sadeq from the AIA Resilience team will walk participants through using the Design Data Exchange (DDx), a national framework for 2030 firms, which features simple metrics and a standardized reporting format for measuring progress toward a zero-carbon future.
