Blue Ridge Community College Patton Building Receives 2023 AIA North Carolina Honor Award
Clark Nexsen received a 2023 AIA North Carolina Honor Award for the design of the Patton Building addition and renovation at Blue Ridge Community College. Presented at the annual AIA North Carolina and Design & Chapter Awards event, entries spanned public, private, and educational designs by AIA North Carolina architects.
Located in Hendersonville, NC, the Patton Building forms a new, vibrant entry to a campus that centers on student activity and highlights the surrounding landscape. It fulfills the client’s vision for a centralized hub of curriculum programs, skilled workforce development, and student success. Through innovative learning environments and a large, flexible workforce development lab, the facility supports Blue Ridge Community College students and positions the College as a strong economic development partner for Henderson County industry.
