Alex Cejka Named to AIA Triangle Leadership Forum

Alex Cejka, AIA, LEED, has been selected to the 2025/2026 AIA Triangle Leadership Forum. The AIA Triangle Leadership Forum is a two-year program supporting professional and personal growth in the industry. Designed for emerging professionals with at least three years in the industry, the program brings together a class of individuals in a collaborative environment.

“It’s an absolute honor to be selected to the newest class of the AIA Triangle Leadership Forum,” said Alex. “As someone committed to being a great architect and mentor, the Leadership Forum provides an amazing opportunity to collaborate with my peers, develop my skills, and help the next generation of architects.”

Leadership Forum members will meet monthly and engage in dynamic panel discussions, firm tours, and construction site visits to foster skill development and explore topics such as leadership in design, architectural practice, firm dynamics, and community-based design. The program is unique in that there are no structured seminars or typical training workshops. Instead, participants take an active role in shaping the curriculum by contributing to the planning and execution of monthly sessions and discovering their leadership style through engagement and self-reflection.

Alex, an Architect based in our Raleigh office, has worked at Clark Nexsen since 2019. As an architectural generalist, he thrives on a variety of project types, as demonstrated by his contributions to the firm’s K-12, commercial, manufacturing/industrial, and community + culture market sectors, most notably working on projects such as Ashe County Middle School, the Greater Williamsburg Sports and Events Center, and Virginia Beach Municipal Center. A mentor in the firm and community, Alex has a thirst for learning and an ability to inspire others. His passion for the profession and desire to share knowledge have facilitated his growth and the growth of those just starting out, from interested high schoolers to recent graduates. Alex holds a B.Arch from Virginia Tech.
